L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Wanted to bring home some yummy flavors to my spouse and this spot definitely filled the bill. The chicken was excellent and the pork was tender. Only downside was my garlic fries as they were essentially drowning in the garlic which took away from the crispness of the fries, but overall. Well worth a visit

I came in and ordered the chicken katsu from the lunch special, while my friend ordered a different lunch that included three meats. My friend’s food came out in about five minutes and was finished eating before I received anything. After waiting 35 minutes, I went to the front to get a cup and still wasn’t given any update on my order. When I finally asked about my food, I was shocked to see it had already been cooked and was sitting in the metal pans by the register the entire time. I had assumed the delay was because it was still being prepared or there were larger orders ahead of mine. There was no apology or explanation. The customer service was terrible, and on top of that, the place was uncomfortably hot. I won’t be returning.

Ordered online and went to store when the food was supposed to be ready. 35 min of waiting later I received my food and to my surprise, no spam musubi. The guy working told me to grab a drink instead..... my spam musubi cost 5.99... make it make sense. Then I drive 12 min home and realize that my chicken katsu curry is missing the curry, my katsu lava chicken is not chicken katsu but grilled chicken rolled in sauce (online it says katsu chicken then rolled in sauce) and I also have no Mac on both of my orders. So to recap... I am missing 2 spam musubi's, there is not curry sauce on my kitchen katsu curry plate, and both of my plates are missing mac and cheese. I actually called the place to complain and the guy said well... we rain out of musubi and Mac and cheese... then.. to top it all o

I ordered Lumpia and they arrived severely over cooked, extremely short in lengh and there was even a burn hole in the container which suggested that it sat on a burner/hot holding area. I also ordered the mini BBQ chicken plate and the cabbage was missing that comes under the chicken. Wish food quality/prep was consistent.

I've eaten here twice and have ordered to go both times. I love Kalua pork and Mac salad, I'll say this is perfect and exactly what I'm used to eating. The first time I ordered the Kalua pork and chicken plate with 3 sides. The katsu chicken was nice and crispy! This time I got the Kalua pork plate with also 3 sides. I do feel like this time I got less Mac salad but of course it was all so delicious either way !
