Mali Thai Bistro

I really enjoyed this place. The service was great and the food exceptional. I'm a big Pad Thai fan, so of course I got that. It had really good flavor and the sauce was light and tangy. The meal comes with a cup of hot and sour soup, which normally I'm not wild about, but this was also very good. It wasn't overwhelming with the sour and was very comforting. I recommend trying this restaurant.

Ordered carryout, late afternoon on 2-20-2026. Very polite and helpful phone gentleman took our order... Both a Medium AND a HOT Pad Thai, and a little chili sauce on the side, kindly provided at our request. Food was fresh and ready on time, and enjoyed an Absolutely Delicious Pad Thai dish. Called back the next day Just to find out which chef got the order flavored exactly RIGHT. They apparently both work FULL Time. It's getting harder to find consistent, high-quality Thai spice dishes in Lee's Summit, but after speaking to Ms. L. today, I sincerely hope Mali Thai continues to prosper... Give it a try. It may seem to be a Slightly higher price, but the portion sizes And MUCH higher quality More than makes up for more the two tasty Extra meals from the fridge, even for a late night

Ordered curry to go and was disappointed in the portion size when we ordered dinner portions. We have tried every Thai spot in the area and they all give full containers of curry and rice but we only got right over half full. The Panang curry had zero vegetables, which is odd. It only had the pork. Never seen panang served like that before. The flavor was good but doesn’t really make up for the rest unfortunately. Just doesn’t seem to match the 36.50 we paid.

This is a cute cozy spot. Don’t let the outside detour you from going inside!! We ordered the mali Thai platter: really enjoyed the crab Rangoon and the crispy spring rolls best. Then my daughter got the pad ka prao (picture with the rice). And I got the pad Thai (picture with the noodles). So good. Love how you can adjust the spice level. It was a bit warm in the building but they had a fan going. This was my first visit but if I was in the area again and craved Thai I would return.

Love this place! THE BEST THAI I'VE EVER HAD!!! The pad Thai was amazing and the curry is amazing! The fried spring are to die for! Very kind service and food was out in a timely manner. I'll be coming back regularly. This place is a hidden gem.
