Mama’s corner Cafe

Cute and quaint no-frills cafe in a historic building with popular breakfast and lunch options including fried Oreos! Service is extremely kind and also efficient even when we entered with a party of 9 taking a break during a road trip. It is small though so seating is limited - we just got lucky that only a few others were dining in at the time. I would certainly stop by again!

Second weekend of January we stopped for lunch on our road trip home. Their chicken sandwich was SO JUICY and delicious. Snagged a seat by the window and watched the quiet world of off-season St. George go by.

Unfortunately, I found TWO HAIRS in my food alongside an eggshell. I noticed the fries were microwaved (classic: one side was hot and the other cold). I was wearing a headscarf+hat, and have a different hair texture so this was not my hair. While the owners were kind, I received a horrible meal that was not only overpriced but hazardous. Cannot recommend this place.

My husband and I came to have breakfast here 3 days in a row because it was so delicious! The food tasted really fresh and the coffee was phenomenal. It was a perfect cortado. The owners are very nice and sweet. You can tell they really care about their business and the quality of their food/service! We will definitely be coming back here when we return to Lake George! 🤗

Talk about prime real estate! Talk about welcoming! Talk about good brunch food! Mama's is doing everything that a new establishment in Lake George should be doing. 1) Be seated in a prime location 2) Be family friendly/accommodating 3) Crank out yummy eats My first visit to Lake George was a success, largely in part because of Mama's Corner Cafe. We chose to eat here because a) the menu looked good and b) it's in the heart of LG and we (read, the children ) wanted a great seat for the Fire Truck parade and all the good spots on the street were taken. Luckily Mama's has outdoor seating that was perfect. The owners were so sweet and accommodating to my kids (the baby boy is an 18 month old, so patience is required) and let us move from our inside seats to outside once the trucks go rolli
