Mariscos La Playa

This was our first visit to this location and was not disappointed. The staff and location was very inviting and pleasant. The chips and salsa start off the experience and the 3 different salsas were delicious!!!! The food was all very appealing and very tasty. The seafood/shrimp cocktail was very very tasty. Enjoyed the meal and will definitely be going back.

Every time I've gone here, I've had the best service and good food! This latest visit, we enjoyed some awesome Tostadas de Ceviche, kids Beef Tacos Plate, Tacos al Patron (tacos with a combination of beef, shrimp and bacon), Fajitas de Tiburon (shark) and Filete de Mojo de Ajo (tilapia fillet steamed in butter and garlic). The portions are very generous and all the entrees with the exception of the fajitas, were served with avocado, rice and the best fries ever. Chips with pico de gallo, a bean dip and a avocado cucumber dip are served as you wait for your food. It was the birthday of a member of our party and they brought out a delicious piece of flan with whipped cream.

The most beautiful young lady welcomed me n said, "yes, we have camarones a la diabla." 1st time there. Atmosphere is festive, lot's of family's were enjoying great food. I look forward to going back and trying what seems to be an endless amount of dishes.

I am a Tex-Mex, Mexican food fan. Unfortunately, Mariscos was a disappointment. First, the service was very inattentive. We had to wave the server down to get a refill on our drinks. When my glass of beer was brought it was half foam and settled down to be less than 2/3 of a glass. We laughed at how bad that was! But the most amazing for last… my fish tacos were a fail. The server set my plate and on the avocado slice was the produce sticker! I didn’t touch anything and took this picture…

Loved our dining experience! We moved to Española about a year ago and barely ate here last week. I ordered the shrimp tropical and my husband ordered the patron tacos. Everything was super yummy 😋 For desert we ordered a choco flan and that was also delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!
