Customer Reviews
Craving Thai food, I walked about 15 minutes from the downtown Richmond Marriott to Mom's Siam 2. The place was quiet on a Wednesday night, but the service was great—a friendly man greeted us, served as our waiter, and kept our water refilled. We ordered the Crab Rangoon, Drunken Noodle with Chicken, and Wonton Soup, which arrived very fast. The food itself was delicious and a solid 4/5; not the absolute best but the portions were large and easily enough for two meals. Highly recommend for the large portions, good price, and great service.
Very good food great staff- reminded me of the Thai food back on the west coast. 10/10 We got the chicken satay, spring rolls, teriyaki chicken, pad Thai, and Thai tea. Very delicious and huge portions
I wanted to leave a 10/10 review for this restaurant because the owner/manager/cooks helped my boyfriend and I get unstuck out of the snow and ice! We parked right in front of the restaurant, and realized the spot wasn’t suitable for us. Our car being FWD… we got stuck. I went in and asked for hot water to help with the ice. He kindly gave me a bowl of hot water with no objection. Super friendly! Eventually the cooks came out, and helped us push the car out of the spot to move into a parking garage. When we come back up to RVA, this is the first place I’m going. I had such a pleasant experience just from the hospitality alone, and the food looked/smelled amazing from what I saw.
We had the entire restaurant to ourselves for a little and the customer service was great!!! Even after some customers came in, our customer service was still good. The margarita was delicious and we loved the giant single ice cube in it. The sushi rolls were on the small side, but happy hour price Maki rolls are not bad. The restaurant is well decorated and has cute vibe inside. It was an easy stroll from the canal walk to the restaurant. Food was good. Not the best best taste and quality of Thai food that we have had. 5 for service and atmosphere
This is a warm quaint spot for delicious Thai food. Personally, the crab fried rice was my favorite, but everything we tried hit. The menu is a bit expansive, so you're likely to find something that tickles your fancy.
