Mum's Deli Korean/American Food

This place is a hidden gem! Delicious korean food that feels so comforting. I had the "Korean braised tofu" and it was wonderful. Perfect blend of slightly spicy and sour with the tofu having good texture. I payed about $9 for a big tin, good amount and was great quality. The owner and cook are very nice as well! Highly recommend if your in town, and I suggest asking for the newer items on the menu n' giving it a try. I will definitely be going here more often. I wish I took a picture but after the first bite, I couldn't get enough.

such an underrated hidden gem in LI! i feel like korean food is hard to come by in this area and even rarer is actual GOOD korean food, but this is for sure a place that you can satisfy your craving for comforting and homey dishes. this is the cutest mom and pop shop with an extensive menu and the owners are incredibly kind. prices are pretty reasonable too; definitely worth a visit!

I've been coming here for breakfast sandwiches for many years but I recently tried Korean food for the first time and it was insanely good. I love the side dishes that come with the entrees (especially the sausage stir fry and Korean style potato salad). Definitely a stand out staple in the neighborhood!!

I’m so happy I found this place! I love Korean food and finally found a great place nearby. The owner and family are so nice and the food was delicious! I got the kimchi stew & rice and spicy tuna kimbob, both were soooo good! Can’t wait to go back more often :)

Mum’s Deli is one of those rare spots that nails both comfort and flavor. The Korean/American fusion feels natural, not forced—like food made by someone who actually loves both cuisines. Everything tastes fresh and made with care, and the portions are generous without being over the top
