It was a wonderful experience dining at Musang. The table settings in the restaurant are great. Enough space to feel intimate at the window table for two. The menu has detailed ingredients for all the dishes. The server explained to us that the menu is separated to four parts and she suggested to order one in each part for us to share. The food was great with lots of flavors, but in general they were too salty for us. The restaurant added 22% gratitude charge. It was written when we made the reservation, on the menu and on the check. The server even reminded us before we paid by our card. So the customers are well informed. But I think it is the best to have the reasonable price for the food, and let the customers to decide how much we want to tip for the services.

What a wonderful time! A very delicious, creative, beautifully plated, family style meal. We got nearly everything on the menu & the only thing that wasn’t excellent was the pork belly special, it was still yummy but just didn’t taste as special as the other dishes. Highly recommended for a group of 5-6 to try the whole menu! We went with 4, and got 10 items which we didn’t end up finishing. They coursed everything out perfectly and the whole experience was awesome. Their patio was also super cute & very inside! No street noise or smells, covered and heated. Worth every penny!

We celebrated New Year’s Eve at Musang. We enjoyed the food. It was really tasty. A unique take on Filipino foods. It’s fun that you can see the kitchen from where we were sitting. The servers were great and friendly. We brought our toddler with us because it’s NYE. The Manager impolitely reminded us that our daughter can’t sit down on the floor. She is not yelling or crying. Just wants to sit on the floor. Clearly he doesn’t have any kids or interacted with any kids before. If there’s one person that wants our daughter to get up and just sit, it is ME.

Musang was a great, chill Filipino themed dinner for us to catch up with friends. Service was decently quick, but could have helped us understand the dishes a bit more after we asked. Similarly, we never order the rolls dish but they were brought to our table twice and had to be sent back both times. Food-wise, everything was decently portioned and tasted great. My main issue is that there wasn't much spice! Maybe I had misplaced expectations, but I was expecting more impact from our bites. Drinks and desserts were solid as well. Overall, definitely would come back but would try to order hotter dishes next time.

Musang on Beacon Hill offers a refined yet comforting take on Filipino cuisine. As a Filipino, it makes me happy to be able to experience a truly unique dining experience like this in Seattle. We were a party of four, and from start to finish it felt special. They have a full bar (first come, first serve if you want to sit there) and an open kitchen where you can see the chefs busy making food all night. We also got lucky because Emily, our wonderful server, told us their menu changes every three months and we happened to catch the new Fall Menu. We ordered the following: Sinigang Chips – Tamarind-dusted potato chips with a tangy, sour edge. An inventive take on sinigang flavors and a fun way to start the meal. Lumpiang Shanghai – Fried eggrolls. I couldn’t eat these because they contain
