New Hoa Dang Vegetarian Restaurant

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this experience was too disappointing not to share. I went to New Hoa Dang Vegetarian Restaurant today with my mom, and unfortunately she ended up with food poisoning after eating there. That alone is serious and concerning. We ordered the fried mushrooms, which were actually the best dish we had it was crispy and flavorful is even why they are worthy of this one star. The Bun Cha Hanoi was edible, though nothing special. But the Mi Quang was honestly the worst dish of the entire meal. As someone who loves Vietnamese food and especially Mi Quang being one of my top favorite dishes, this was extremely disappointing. Delicious vegetarian Vietnamese food right here in East San Jose and it's soared to being one of the top spots I'd recommend for plant-based enthusiasts out there. They offer a lot of unique Viet dishes not commonly found at other restaurants, veggie or not. The menu doesn't explicitly mark whether something is or isn't vegan, but nearly all of the items are and you can ask to make sure. We ordered their Spring Rolls, Salted Fish Fried Rice, Chinese Spinach, and Lemongrass Fish (which also came with rice). The rolls were a fantastic start and came with a savory dipping sauce. The fried rice was bomb and definitely a staple at any Viet restaurant. Been eating here since they opened years ago! I used to be vegan so was eating here at least once a week. I’m not vegan anymore but still come here for their autumn rolls and BBH. They make the best vegetarian/vegan BBH in San Jose. We recommend this place to friends and family all the time and they love the BBH!

WOW definitely a pleasant surprise! My friends invited me to this New Hoa Dang Restaurant and I am Currently hooked! I never thought that Vegetarian Food can be so Great!! This place was absolutely lovely! They offers many Varieties Vietnamese Specialties that are very tasty, much healthier, and Very Flavorful. Their Popular items on the menu includes: Rice Noodles, Veggie Pork Spring Rolls, Can Bun, Bun Bo Hue, Minced Crab Soup, Pad Thai, Shaken Beef, Veggie Soups, and many more! So many of my favorites here!!! Absolutely love the Interior Decorations and the Welcoming Catchy Beautiful Atmospheres!!! We got the house special hotspot. They are pretty good. Place not that big but they have outdoor seating. Parking can be a challenge peak hours. I do recommend this place.
