North Slope Coffee

This place is right down the road from my besties new apartment! We’ve walked over twice now and the same girl has served us both times. She was so sweet and welcoming!! She had the best recommendations, I highly recommend giving this place a try! This time I got an iced banana bread breve latte with BANANA COLD FOAM.. I know right. And my bestie got an oat milk matcha version of the same thing! Last time I got an energy spritzer from their October specials list called the “Witches Brew” with sparkles in it, also very good!!

I love this place! I stop by with my dog whenever I want to brighten a morning walk. The employees are so friendly and make a great special treat :)

I love this little shop. The gals are always so nice and the coffee is great. They make a point to get to know their customers and it's also dog friendly. The only downside is the constant loitering of people asking for money or just hanging around and yelling at customers as they walk in and out. They hang out right by the entrance and crosswalk so there is almost no way to avoid them and sometimes there are several at a time. It's very uncomfortable and doesn't feel safe and I feel for the gals that have to deal with that at the coffee stand and I hope they are compensated well because I can only imagine the challenges they face every day.

We ordered an iced mocha here and it was BAD. We threw it away. Way too strong, no chocolate flavor and the ice comes from a cooler. 🤢 Never again.

Megan is the heart and soul of this place, and she’s the best barista EVER!!! If you’re someone who loves exploring unique coffee flavors, this place is a dream. They’re always introducing creative new syrups and flavor combinations on their Monthy Specials board. Everyone is incredibly friendly, even during busy times, and they work so efficiently that you never have to wait long, no matter how long the line is. The stand itself is tucked away in the entrance of a grocery store, and it’s so clean, cute, and cozy. Plus, it’s a small business, and supporting them feels great, especially when their coffee is hands down the best I’ve had in the Pacific Northwest. Highly recommend!
