Pulled up and the parking lot was so packed I just knew it would be a wait but I was mistaken. Was seated quickly. It was my birthday so I asked the waitress to recommend me a mixed drink. The Blue Mesa was her recommendation and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the California burrito and it was deliciously filling. The bean dip they give tableside is also delicious If youre ever in or near Maggie Valley and enjoy Mexican cuisine definitely give this place a try. Its good affordable food. They have a salsa bar too!

Had an amazing meal at Papas and Bears! We tried the Pollo Loco and shrimp enchiladas — both were packed with flavor. Quantity and quality were 10/10. Great portions, fresh ingredients, and bold taste. Definitely coming back for more! 🌮🔥

We love going there, good margaritas and pretty good food but I love the variety of the salsas yummy.

Great food. Large sevings. Fast service. Attentive wait staff. So much food you will be taking half of it home for tomorrow. Sizzling enchiladas were excellent. My wife had taco salad with grilled chicken breast that was very delicious. It is 2X the size you get at other places. Our food was on our table in less than 5 minutes even though they had a full house. Strongly recommend you give them a try.
