Such a great place to eat! Great atmosphere and the waitresses are very sweet and friendly and help you with any questions or special requests. Fun for birthday parties with 6 people or less. There is an outside area and an inside area. Lovely for luncheons with friends or co workers. Mom and I got often. I love their large number of different sandwiches and salads. They also have chili and different kinds of soup.

Quaint lunch place in reimagined house. The decor is so cute. Perfect place for a friend's date or a date/date. Service was quick and very good. Menu is mainly soup, salad & sandwiches. Tasty, a little bland, but still good & fresh.

I have been here many times through the years. The food is good. I was greeted warmly by the waitress! The owner is not friendly at all! I got the chicken salad sandwich which was good but the sour dough bread absolutely fell apart and crumbled away as I ate the sandwich. I ended up just eating the chicken salad by itself. I also got the wedding soup which was good but didn’t have any flavor. I added salt which helped.

Penelope's is a hidden gem nestled in LaCanada. Food was delicious, services were nice. I felt I am in a little European place with a small place with quality.. mostly locals come here. Lovely place. I will definitely go there again.

OMG! The best waffles ever! I also took coffee latte and it was amazing! So cute patio outside with a little fountain and a few beautiful fish inside! Very quiet, so very comfortable for business breakfast or lunch! Highly recommend!
