Poppi's Greek Taverna

Very long time customer of this warm and cozy restaurant, just two besties sneaking into a cozy restaurant ready to catch up. We have been ordering the same thing since highschool and wouldn’t have it any other way. The Mezedakia and Saganaki were fantastic! This was our first time at the new location and we were super anxious the food or venue would not be to our taste. The old location was warm in color and lighting (like a living room), noisy and busy but felt less harsh in the lighting from the high ceilings which allowed for choice of quiet conversation and sometimes a dinner enjoys a little discretional seating for friends to catch up without having to strain the ear. I think the lighting could have been less harsh (great for summer lunch but maybe not so much at supper to avoid caf

They've moved and slightly renamed but all the amazing food is still here! Don't forget about this gem. Weekend lunches are great here and dinners are always delicious amd fresh.

We had the hummus (very garlicky) the cheese dish (very salty) and the grilled lamb dish. Nothing was bad, but nothing tasted worth the price. I’d try it again to make a well informed opinion.

good service and good food. i’m a fan of ordering the three appetizers with an entree and splitting it. two entrees for two people always has leftovers. love the addition to the neighborhood!

This is hands down the best Greek food you can get in Eugene!! The new location for Poppi’s in 5th Street Market is absolutely adorable :) Great date night spot, comfortable & spacious, beautiful decor, & positive overall vibe! The staff is amazing too, always professional, friendly, & hardworking! If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out! Delicious homemade spanakopita & a variety of traditional Greek dishes are available. Eugene really needed this spot, it adds a fancy touch to our community & contributes to the food diversity for our lovely city. 5 Stars! Can’t wait for next time 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
