Cute Mexican restaurant with flair. Dined in for a late lunch today. Salsa was good; were offered cheese sauce/guac as options, too. Menu had the old favorites as well as some new and different offerings - same with the drinks. We ordered two of the lunch specials - Chicken stuffed burrito (think giant soft chimichanga) and prime rib tacos. While we waited, we got samples of a tea and a horchata. Both were tasty and the horchata made from scratch. I also got a side of guac with the burrito that was absolutely STELLAR. Had trouble getting my husband to leave me some! His tacos came with two special sauces - one a green sauce that he ate every smidgen of, and an organgish one that was seriously hot. It was good but a little goes a long way. Oh I have no clue how to describe my experience, the place is Adorable, young boy doing everything fantastic! The food unexplainable shrimp horrible dried out! Food zero flavor, bland I don't think in the 2 year's I've been here we ever had horrible food ! Rancho Viejo has great food and creative drink offerings. I enjoyed the Pina Loca which gives you a variety of grilled meats and veggies in half a pineapple. Burritos and enchiladas were also good and the serving sizes were generous. Thanks to the staff for making our visit great!

We always come in when we're in town. Unlike a lot of Mexican restaurants, this one doesn't over salt the food and the chicken is never overcooked. The owner's boys help out when not in school and they are very pleasant. It's just a great place to eat.

At first, I was apprehensive about eating here, as there was only one car in the parking lot. Upon entering, you will find a friendly waiter/waitress and a very clean establishment. The menu wasn't overwhelming like you see in some Mexican restaurants. The food was delicious!! The owner came around to our table, and we spoke for about 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!
