Restaurant El Charro

This is a great Mexican food place. I'm not a fan of their ground beef mix. And thier tortillas are a little on the thick side. But to each their own. On this particular day the food was right where it needed to be. Plus did you know you adult beverages can be to go.. This was my Pina colada to go.. it was tasty.. Highly recommend this place for the fam or date night.

We stopped on our way late last Friday evening and even close to closing time the food was amazing! The portions were sooo generous and the flavor was even better! The homemade tortillas were my favorite thing! The service was fast and friendly! We will definitely be back next time we head down to the Border.

Delicious breakfast . Best tasting refried beans and migas. Attentive server and very reasonable prices. Also bought a dozen sopapillas for $10

Choice Mexican food found here. Ordered the carnitas guisada plate. This comes with refried beans, rice, salad, guacamole, good portion of carnitas guisada, and flour tortillas. Complimentary chips and salsa were delivered to my table also. The service was excellent as two waitresses and one waiter were checking on me courteous. Place is big and roomy but filled up fast with customers by the time I finished my plate. The plate was filling and everything was done right and delicious. I very much enjoyed having lunch here. 👍

This restaurant is nicely decorated and the really put emphasis on colorful wall murals depicting Mexican small town scenes. The spaces looks a little crowded with heavy furniture. Each chair is decorated with a painting on the back. The food we ordered was very good and attractive to the eye. The menu is extensive and varied. The portions were large. The service was friendly and diligent. I would definitely come back on our next visit to Alice. Areas of improvement include the lighting in the bathrooms. They’re not well illuminated and that makes the bathrooms awkward and suspicious of their cleanliness.
