Update 10/24/2025. CYNTHIA provided great service and understood when I had to put back some of the items my grandson grabbed. Great unique and retro candies. This is a great retro candy store that reminds me of my childhood candy treats. The decor and simultaneous for purchase include retro posters for concerts and those metal signs with silly, funny phrases. Check out retro sodas and silly sodas.The attendant is cheerful, attentive, and upbeat. Great place to relive the past or learn about the past through my sweet tooth. Parking out front is pay by app, usually full. Check out side streets for paid parking. Store is all wheel chair access.

For years, Rocket Fizz has been part of our routine, not just a stop, but a tradition. Every trip with the kids turns into a new discovery. Somehow there’s always something we haven’t tried yet. What never changes? A pack of candy cigarettes and a wall of root beer choices that feels endless. We’re from out of town, so Rocket Fizz in St. Pete has become our unofficial victory lap after visiting All Children’s. At this point, it’s expected. Candy everywhere. Zots, Dots, every flavor of lollipop you can imagine. Anime sodas, ooze soda, chocolate that literally pops in your mouth. It’s sensory overload in the best way possible. Every visit feels like stepping into a modern Willy Wonka factory, bright, weird, nostalgic, and fun. The kids love it, I love it, and honestly it never gets old. Ro

Unique store in downtown St Petersburg. Had the largest selection of soda I have ever seen. The flavors are very different like buffalo wing and enchilada. The cooler had different energy drinks as well. There was a nice size candy selection which included some 90s favorite candies that I haven’t seen in awhile. I will definitely stop in again to try another random soda.

Such a fun and vast selection of things! Great place to pick up gifts for those that are hard to shop for. Definitely worth a visit!
