Rockgirt Bed & Breakfast

Most friendly folks ever. Four days of very small town living (Canton, PA), scenic drives, homemade food, milk fresh from dairy farm, little traffic, sunsets like non other.

This was our first stay at Rockgirt. We had rented the entire house for the long weekend for a family reunion.||Mary Beth and Tom are a lovely couple, who graciously helped us with all the local information, directions and what to expect (we had family travelling from abroad). The house is beautifully decorated and the views are spectacular. The pub chairs, game room and the large dining room was perfect for us. Each bed room is unique in its decor and the kitchen and bathroom are well stocked.||Eating out option and groceries are easily available in nearby township of Troy.||A definite Must Stay and Revisit.

I stayed a weekend here with a friend. We chose to stay in two of the suites which are both very spacious and comfortable. Every room we looked into was inviting and well appointed. There is plenty of sitting areas to gather or to be alone, not to mention the beautiful porches where you can listen to nature and watch the deer gather around a pond situated a nice walking distance from the house. Mary Beth and Tom are warm and engaging and know so much about the history that surrounds them. Breakfast was yummy and fresh. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

AMAZING!!!! My stay at the Rockgirt was wonderful! Mary Beth and Tom are wonderful hosts. From start to finish everything was perfect. The rooms, in fact, the whole place, was so warm and inviting. Everywhere I laid my eyes there was something really cool to look at -- it's decorated beautifully. It was so peaceful with a fabulous view, especially on the upper back porch. All of the rooms and bathrooms were spotless. Breakfast ---- the best I've had in a long time. I would not hesitate to recommend the Rockgirt to anyone for a stay. Give it a try -- you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I stayed at Rockgirt this summer while visiting the area. Mary Beth and Tom were gracious hosts, ensuring that our stay was a comfortable and enjoyable one. The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Queen Suite and very much enjoyed the beautiful view from our private balcony. Each morning Mary Beth made a breakfast that was to die for and if it would be permissable, I would very much like to have some of her recipes! We loved everything about our stay at Rockgirt and we only regretted not adding more nights to our stay. We’ve already started recommending this B&B to our friends and family and this is where we will stay the next time we are in the area.
