Shake Shack Tacoma Mall

Worst first time experience at a burger place. My food was simple with 1 persons order on it To-go. Was probably given to someone else and was not checked properly because my order ended up missing. Team member explained to someone who i assume was in charge of the shift at the time and got my order out after a few minutes just to receive it wrong. I live in Lacey and didn't see it till half way home but was missing bacon on my burger. Mind you this whole order cost me 30 dollars! The Tiramisu milkshake was the only good thing out of this. Probably will not go to a Shake Shack again.

Shake Shack has been one of the restaurants on my list for a long time. I have been very happy about their business model and the positive customer experience I have heard so much about. However, at this location, I was not met with the expectations I had. When we arrived, I realized that the vegetarian option for their other burger was out of stock. Since the Veggie Shack was unavailable, I ended up having to order the Shroom Burger. The wait time for our order was around 20 to 30 minutes. It was a busy time and the store had just opened, so I would say the wait time was reasonable for that specific day. What made me feel a bit let down was that only the Shroom Burger was available, especially since I specifically came there for the Veggie Shack. The layout and seating are very nice. I

The highly anticipated Shake Shack at Tacoma Mall opened its doors on Nov. 12, 2025 and I couldnt be more excited. They offer both indoor and outdoor seats, and all the best of Shake Shack including app order and kiosk and in-person order and they are super fast and quality. My favorite here is their BLT, and Shack dog, and their shakes, which you cant go wrong with any flavor. And if you have not tried their regular "hamburger" (not ShackBurger but just their "hamburger" that comes with justice patties), try it because its simple and yummy, just good patty and bun! The restaurant is in their opening phase, so obviously they're very busy yet staff are so kind, customers are served timely. They keep busy with constantly cleaning tables and emptying trash and they also came by to ask me if

I get it it’s a few days opening day. Just super crowded and the cashier took 15 minutes to figure out how to work the cashier. Just got my food. Took 40 minutes and both my burgers were cold and fries I think the burger was half cooked.

Excited to finally have a shake shack in the area. Ordering was quick with the self-service kiosk. Even with the long line the wait took about 15 mins so not too bad. Order was spot on, fresh, and hot. Pretty sure they'll be seeing us again soon.
