Customer Reviews
As a Mizzou alum, I fell in love with Shortwave Coffee at their Columbia, MO location, so having them expand to St. Louis's West Loop is a dream. The space is stunning, modern decor, beautiful colors, and great furniture that makes it one of the most inviting spots in the city. The coffee is craft, single origin with light to medium roasts that suit every taste. They roast on site, make their own syrups, and the caramel latte was incredible. They also bake fresh pastries daily and the cookies alone are worth the trip. The menu covers everything, espresso, pour overs, cold brew, nitro, matcha, and more. This is local business that genuinely cares about the neighborhood, and it shows. Strong WiFi makes it great for your daily commute stop, a work session, or meetings, and it's equally perf
Gorgeous coffee shop with incredible coffee drinks (Moroccan Hot Cocoa was also amazing!) Do not miss the pastry counter! The almond croissant is unreal. Kougin-amann-esque, with crunchy caramelized sugary bits perfectly weaved into the buttery layers. Unbelievably delicious!
I visited this super cool coffee shop for the first time this morning. The coffee aroma upon entering was intoxicating. The space has a modern, minimalist aesthetic — simple, tasteful, and effortlessly stylish. Pale brick walls, and light wood give it an airy feel, while the smell of espresso and comfortable seating keep it cozy and alive. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely attentive, greeting regulars by their first names. Ana Gabriela took time to go over the choices of espresso beans for purchase. I bought two bags and can’t wait to try them! Looking forward to going back!
The coffee is exceptional, smooth, rich, not bitter, burnt, or overly milky. The staff are genuinely friendly and clearly passionate about what they do.
This place is amazing and they make some of the best coffee! You have to check this place out. It’s a must!
