Skyline Gelato

A must stop for exceptional gelato when in Comfort, TX. You will be shocked. Now I must admit, having just recently traveled to Italy and had gelato daily from various towns and cities, I was skeptical that a gelato shop in Comfort would be anything stand out. However, when we arrived we were told the owner was in Italy currently, and he had been trained professionally on how to make gelato there. They didn’t have any gelato they could scoop fresh, but they had a freezer full of about 20 different flavors which were pre-scooped. Pre scooped gelato made me a bit nervous but we tried it anyway… Oh my god this gelato was phenomenal. Honestly, the pistachio gelato might have been the best I’ve ever had. The panna cotta and key lime were also amazing. They source many ingredients from Italy,

I met the owner, Jim, and he is one of the most humble and talented people you’ll ever come across. He personally handcrafts every batch of gelato and even trained in Italy — and you can taste that level of skill in every flavor. I tried the Tiramisu, and my spouse got Peppermint Bark, and we were blown away. These aren’t just desserts — they’re experiences. The flavor is rich, natural, and creamy, unlike any ice cream we’ve ever had. so tasty pistachio was so good, rich in flavor and taste like high end gelato all for 4$ :) will be back anytime i’m in comfort!

Jim and Lydia are lovely people that make FANTASTIC gelato!!! This gelato is worth the visit! The flavors are so rich and tasty. They use real ingredients, and you can tell! There is a great variety of flavors, some of our favorites are strawberry sorbet, sea salt caramel, and mint chip. We always make sure to stop by whenever we are in town :)

I agree with everyone who has posted. Unbelievably delicious! Will make Skyline a regular stop.
