Southern Catfish Cabin

The fries were top-tier! Glad I decided to eat there while they were hot. In fact, everything came out piping hot. The catfish was fried perfectly and seasoned well (a little salty for my taste, but there is a light salt option) but something was a little off about the taste. It didn't taste bad, just kind of like a different fish. The mac and cheese was aiight. I prefer the baked casserole kind. But at the end of the day, I ate alllll of it and was very satisfied. WARNING: my 1/2 lb catfish dinner with two sides and a drink was $24! I was in a bit of a hunger/exhaustion daze when I ordered and paid with a credit card. It took me a few minutes to realize that I paid that much for lunch. She did suggest whiting would be less expensive, but I wanted catfish.

Gotta try Charlie D's!! I love their food. Best catfish I've ever tried. I don't know how they get the flavor so perfect. No muddy flavor, perfectly sliced. And the chicken as well as burgers are 🔥🔥. I don't rave about restaurants too often and I'm a picky eater. Highly recommend.

Best food ever!!!! The service was excellent and Aisha was the sweetest and we were so happy we got to meet her. We drove 2.5 hours and it was well worth the trip.

Absolutely disappointing experience. I was genuinely excited to hear a Charlie’s location had opened near where I spend a few nights each week. That excitement disappeared fast after placing my very first — and definitely last — order. I called around 6:30 PM to place my order, only to be hung up on mid-sentence. Maybe it was a mistake, so I called back and successfully ordered a catfish dinner with two sides. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived, paid by 6:48, and used the restroom to wash my hands. Then I waited… and waited. After 25 minutes had passed, I politely asked the girl at the front how much longer it would be.
