Steph's Subs

I was a little shocked at first by the price...$15 for a whole Italian sub......but once I received it and saw the size, it completely made sense. The hoagie was HUGE. One of my recent clients who has since passed away always suggested Steph’s Hoagies and said they were really good, and honestly… he was right. I can’t speak for all of their hoagies, but the whole Italian with everything on it was great. It was filling, flavorful, and definitely left me satisfied. I’d absolutely recommend stopping by and giving it a try. Just a heads up that the prices listed on Google don’t fully reflect the in-store pricing, and it is a bit more expensive than what’s shown.

For the past year or so we have continued to keep hoping for better subs when we order and we continue to be disappointed. I stopped doing subs and now get salads when my husband wants to try it again. Today he did a whole meatball sub and asked for extra meatballs (because they have gotten so skimpy)….One half had a 1 whole meatball and 2 small pieces. The other half had 3 meatballs (see pics). I saw someone also mention about their subs being dry etc. We used to love the turkey subs but either they changed their oil seasonings or they don’t put it on at all because they have lost their flavor. This place used to be one of the best but not so much anymore.

Steph’s is a Bloomsburg institution and recently changed ownership. I’ve been enjoying these subs for almost 20 years and am pleased to report there has been no drop off in service or quality of their offerings; in fact, the tuna sub (with provolone and everything, including hot peppers) I had yesterday was the tastiest one I’ve ever had! We also enjoyed the roast beef, the Italian and the ham club. Well done and good luck, new owners! Thanks for keeping Bloom in delicious sandwiches!

The fries were the best thing. The subs were eh- they were very thin and pretty tasteless. We were all still hungry after eating them

Steph’s is great to stop in for a quick meal. Friendly staff and great food. New owners haven’t changed much, quality staff have kept this place clean and running like a well oiled machine!
