Tasteful Sensations Seafood & Soul Food

Upon first arriving and looking at the menu, the owner could tell it was our first time and quickly began to explain the menu and even give some recommendations. While waiting for our order, he continued to converse with us in a pleasant manner and was very open and friendly. Everything is made to order so the aroma of all the food cooking from scratch was delightful. He even gave us a sample of his broccoli (which was delicious) while we waited. After returning to our Air BnB we quickly dug into the plentiful servings of food we had ordered. Everything was delicious! The fish was fried to perfection, the Mac N cheese was amazing and I'm a big critic about my Mac. The rice with gravy was really good as well as the vegetables. Ordered via UberEats and the food came in a timely manner and the delivery driver was very nice. The food was OK, it got the job done. None of my food had a crunch to it because it wasn’t fried hard enough. My fries were a bit white for my liking (and too much pepper) and the shrimp was a little salty. I certainly will give this place another try however.

Every bite was AMAZING! I placed my order over-the-phone, went to pick it up and it was still being prepared which indicated to me that the food was being cooked-to-order. The fried wings were fresh, and tasted AMAZING! Turkey wings were AMAZING! Baked Mac & yams were amazing as well.. and to top it off.. peach cobbler and strawberry ice cream.. God could’ve taken me right then.. simply put, the peach cobbler was to die for. Definitely coming back

So I ordered 6 fried wings and a large mac and cheese. To start my bill was $17.95 including the 75 cent fee they charge you for using a credit or debit card. My wings were burnt like they stayed in the oil way too long. Then on top of that I must have been given the bottom of the pan portion of mac and cheese. It had no cheese in it and I got the burnt crisp that is usually left on the side of the pan that no one wants. I normally do post reviews but I think your cook and management should consider what they serve customers as we patronize your establishment so should you give us great quality food we pay for. Not sure when I'll go back but I hope next time the food is better.

Mixed emotions about this place, the taste and presentation of the food is pretty good, but the overall dynamics and layout of this restaurant is poor. I felt like the limited kitchen space cause the food to be prepared at a much slower pace. I waited well over half and hour for my jerk chicken platter to be prepared. Others came in after me and received their platters first..so also did not enjoy going in here being well dressed and leaving out smelling like fried food.. a better ventilation system need to be put in place... The overall environment was however pleasant not hearing a bunch of trashy music or vulgar language. I may in the future give this place another try.
