Tavern 1244 at Baron's Inn

I came here for lunch and had fried chicken sliders with country gravy and fries. The chicken was very tasty and juicy. The fries were hot and fresh out of the fryer. This is a very nice restaurant with a bar and high-top eating space, a lovely dining room, and a beautiful large venue event room lovely for weddings and other similarly large special occasions. I’d love to come back for dinner and try their steaks, the menu items look great. They accept cash and cards and there’s even an ATM on site if needed.

This place is the best! From the food to the top-notch service! From the hostess to the waitstaff to the kitchen! We always ask for Jen and she is always AMAZING! She remembers our drinks, to one of our parties very complex dietary restrictions. Which the kitchen is always very understanding about. Over all it is just an amazing, family feel restaurant with amazing staff!!

How absolutely disappointing! I spend weeks trying to find something special to do for valentines day, I specifically asked if the valentines day menu was available at noon and was told yes. We drive an hour to arrive at noon for our special day, to be told that the valentine's day menu is not available. Then the lady starts trash talking the help like its their fault, maybe start with how this place is managed! Extremely disappointed, will never go back! Booooooooooo!

So far, soups are really good, salads are good, tried the Vegetarian Florentine today and it was meh. Friends say their sandwiches are delicious though. I haven’t tried them yet.

New owners Fired GM moments after buying the store, also few days before Christmas. Reason explained was he was simply “unneeded” our community no longer needs this tavern.
