The Butcher's Market of Wilmington

The Butcher's Market is by far the best meat market in wilmington. We have visited multiple markets looking for the right meats and they fall short to this location. The variety and quality of meats is outstanding. They even have prepared foods and spirits. Check them out!

We recently moved to Wilmington and received a coupon for a free sampler of their products. We were BLOWN AWAY by the chicken breast and beef tips. The staff was very helpful and kind. I typically wouldn’t make a special stop to buy meats but it is so worth it. The chicken breasts are good enough for company. Throw them on the grill and you’re good to go! They have great promos as well. Looking forward to becoming a regular.

A playground of amazing meat & accoutrement for all of us foodie / amateur chefs! Tons of sides, veg, sauces, spices, toppings, tongs, temp gauges, and beverages, too. Meat counter with plain or pre-marinated options. Note that they are not processing the whole animal in house (so no parts & pieces for stocks or esoteric dishes)! I’ll be back!

Pretty silly to have three people working behind the counter with customers waiting/standing in line, with only one meat slicer available. Edit to Add: Reply from business is contrary to the facts of the encounter- After waiting patiently, I asked the store clerk if there was someone else available to help customers. Someone came from the back. After I received two items I was told we would just need to wait as you only had one slicer available to cut meat. After waiting an extended time, I left without everything I intended to purchase. (I've purchased large volumes from Raleigh location, had great service and felt valued. My wife and I ventured out to visit a new place. The Butchers Market of Wilmington. They had lots of variety like a small grocery store. I picked up Ancho Chili Lime Chicken Breasts and Garlic Buttered Corn on the Cob! My wife picked up some dry spices at a good price too! First time cooking corn on the cob in a sealed bag and it turned out great! The chicken was very tasty and very tender! We will be returning in the future!
