The Gyro Project

This place was absolutely delicious. It was easily one of the best gyros I have had in New Jersey. I ordered the gyro fries as well, and they were just as impressive. The portions were generous, especially for the price, and everything was packed with flavor. The interior is beautifully designed with a great vibe, making it a comfortable spot for lunch, dinner, or even getting some work done. It was my first time visiting, and I will definitely be coming back with my family. I highly recommend it.

They deserve to market themselves as “fine-fast food” - it’s the best Greek fast food we’ve had in the US. The gyro is authentic, they use quality ingredients, the staff was friendly, it’s clean, the atmosphere is cozy & inviting, and the shop with imported Greek products was very nostalgic for us Greeks! 100/10 recommend. Delicious.

Such a great Greek spot! The vibe is beautiful and super inviting. The girls who helped us were so sweet and friendly. I had the spanakopita and baklava—both were absolutely delicious. We also got the Greek club sandwich, which was fresh and really tasty, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try more desserts!

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at the Gyro Project in Fort Lee, NJ, and it was a delightful experience. Having moved to New Jersey years ago, I’ve struggled to find gyros that compare to those from my hometown. When a childhood friend visited, we decided to give this place a shot. Nestled among a variety of eateries, the Gyro Project stood out with its bright, colorful decor and ample parking. The ambiance felt reminiscent of a traditional Grecian courtyard, making it quite inviting. Despite walking in on the tail end of a busy evening, the staff managed to maintain a well-organized atmosphere. This Greek restaurant has a really nice ambiance and spacious decor which makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious. The dip sampler was amazing and we got the gyro platter which was also really tasty. Overall, it’s a great spot for good food, a comfortable atmosphere, and efficient service—I’d definitely come back.
