Usmania Grill

I am Pakistani and have eaten this food all of my life. This restaurant is a bit off the beaten path place but deserves lots of praise. We ordered the BBQ platter for 4 and were very satisfied with all the flavors and tenderness of the meat. This time we ordered takeout but would gladly eat in. They have a pool table at the back which is a fun addition you don’t normally find in these sorts of restaurants.

This is a down to earth casual eatery for comfort Pakistani food and chats. Highly recommend the BBQ platter ample for two, fresh flavourful and spicy with fluffy naan. The meat is halal.

We had a great time at Usmania! The staff was very attentive and the service was quick even though they made our bbq platter fresh! We ordered the bbq platter for 2, chicken biryani, mango lassi, and sweet lassi! Both lassis tasted amazing best for a hot day! The platter was so delicious highly recommended and biryani was good too best part it was boneless! I would definitely return to this place!!!

Food was good and service was decent. Naans were fresh and chicken tikka was amazing. Nihari was 7/10 as well. Overall good food. Can upgrade the place for a better atmosphere.

Came here after reading the review, and somehow I had usmania restaurant (karachi) in mind when it came to flavors, but it was a disappointment. The food really was just "ok." Mostly bland and not even close to what it tastes like back home in pakistan (if you're really a foodie and know the local taste). The naan however were good, and the tea. So 10/10 for Naan and the karak chai. Probably the best karrak chai I've had here so far. Spring rolls were really a bite size, was not expecting that small. The food was mostly bland.
