Welch House

My daughter and I were in town for a college visit and Judy made us feel right at home our entire stay and was grateful to be welcomed into her home. The communication from booking, arrival and departure was fantastic. Murphy room was exactly what we need, enjoyed the front porch, played some catch in the huge backyard and had delicious home cooked and made-to-order breakfast with great conversation. Thank you Judy! Highly recommend staying here when in the area.

I contacted Judy to ask a few questions and she responded instantly and answered any questions I had. We had 3 couples renting rooms for a wedding in town. We rented for 2 days and we had the use of the rooms and living area and front porch! We'd wake up to the smell of Amish Bacon baking in the oven. We were offered Fresh farm eggs, three types of German breads, Fresh made yougurt, Fruit, and endless coffee and tea. We sat in the Kitchen and chatted with Judy while she cooked a perfect breakfast for our group. We had a great Stay and one more thing, each room had a Kurig coffee maker with choice of coffee and fresh cream in the refridgerator!|What a great Stay!!|Thank you Judy!!

Never having stayed in a B&B before I was excited to be able to book a room here while I was visiting my granddaughter at Hamilton college. The room was very nice and very clean, the breakfast was delicious and the owner was a very sweet lady. If I was ever in Clinton again, I would be sure to stay here again.

Not only is the location of this charming home perfect for a visit to Hamilton College, but this is a very relaxing place within walking distance to town and campus. We had a full house of family and friends. Ms.Judy W, with her warm heart and sunny smile-despite the rain- welcomed us all. Judy whips up a breakfast that will satisfy everyone for most of the day. Always available are farm fresh eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt to die for and warm items are cooked to order by Ms. Judy herself! Included in your stay is a cozy room with mini fridge, water, coffee pot and many other items to make your stay memorable. There is plenty of hot water for warm showers. I came with my 17 yo daughter who wanted to visit the Hamilton College campus. Unfortunately, we arrived in an ice storm and the weather didn't get much better! The welcome was warm, however, and our host could not have been more helpful. Our room - Murphy - was perfect for us with 2 four-poster queen beds in separate parts of the room. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were cozy (it was well below freezing outside) and the shower was hot. The breakfast was excellent - made mostly from locally sourced foods. I'm sure that, once my daughter has settled at college, my wife and I will come back here to visit her.
