West Street Tavern

Visited West Street Tavern for the first time on a Friday evening. Smaller, quaint establishment in Berlin, MA. Started with the French onion soup which was very good. For the entree, I ordered the Beef Chimichurri with freshly vegetables. Beef was cooked perfectly medium rare, and Chimichurri had a nice flavor. Finished up with the warm apple crisp with vanilla Gelato. The crisp was made with oat meal which was unusual but delicious.

What a great hidden gem. Was in the area and stopped by for a late lunch. A lot of options on the lunch menu. The food was awesome. ***Food Mood Note: They have Coke products here! Their Diet Coke Crisp factor: Very crispy ***Caesar salad is my go to plate: Loved the dressing!

Visited mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Place was fairly busy, no wait time but most tables occupied. Server came quick and was attentive and friendly. Menu is what you would expect from a modern tavern/pub and prices are in line with other local restaurants of the same type and quality. Food arrived hot and the portions were generous. If you know this building (former train station) from previous restaurants, then the layout will be familiar. It has been given a welcome facelift and feels clean and modern. The only downside is one that has been a problem here forever, the large main room is too "hard" this makes it get very loud very quickly. West Street Tavern is a fantastic spot! The decor is beautiful and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere right when you walk in. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The nachos are excellent, the beer selection is great, and the smash burgers are absolutely delicious—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for great food, drinks, and a relaxed vibe.

West Street Tavern is a must go spot if you’re looking for great food, drinks, but more importantly - atmosphere. The owner and staff are so kind and so much fun to be around. The restaurant itself is very well decorated and cozy. If you’re looking for a quiet spot, this is not your place. It’s a bar/tavern that is very lively. Which is exactly why we loved it. Their espresso martini is incredible and they are very consistent with their drinks - we ordered two throughout the night, different bartenders each time, and they tasted the same. Live music on Saturdays is also a blast. We can’t wait to go back!
