Wild For Salmon Seafood Market & Cafe

Was looking for a new place to stop in for lunch and discovered they now offer a cafe with fresh made food. We were not disappointed. We both got salads and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The salmon on top was so perfect. I also had a bowl of soup that really hit the spot. An awesome new place to stop in for food now between the Danville/Bloomsburg area.

Food was good, tastes fresh, could use more seasoning..maybe some Old Bay? Place your order at the counter then you get a pager when your food is ready. Nice clean, friendly atmosphere. There's a store connected where you can buy their merchandise.

My husband and I came to Wild for Salmon for the very first time. The cashier was super friendly. He was cracking some jokes which made our experience even better. We both got the Sockeye Salmon Sandwhich with fries. My husband got a bowl of the daily soup. Everything was wonderful. We would definitely return again.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Tried this establishment for the first time today. On "Special" was a Lobster Roll. For $31 dollars each (we bought two), I would not even consider this an appetizer. As you can see in the photo below, the "roll" is 1/2 the size of a hotdog bun. The "lobster" in the plastic container is allegedly 3 pounds 🤣. Mostly mayo, pre- made, to be precise. To say we are highly disappointed is an understatement. Would not recommend. The "chef" even became snippy with me when I realized we were taken. I politely asked to return it (did not touch) and get my money back and basically got the run around. She just stated, "What do you want us to do." I stated I wanted my money back. If you’re traveling down Highway 80 it’s definitely worth a stop. The fish is probably some of the highest quality you’ll have in the country. You’ll look at the price and say I don’t know why it’s so cheap. They get the real source salmon and other Alaskan fish. They are very detailed in how they prepare the food. It doesn’t matter what you order. It’s going to be life-changing. Be prepared to spend money because you’re going to get a taste of what it’s like in Alaska.
