Bear's Smokehouse Barbecue

This was the best barbecue we have ever had. It was absolutely packed when we arrived. You wait in line to order your food cafeteria style, then sit wherever you like. There is a large outdoor seating area with fun stuff for the kids to enjoy, while the parents can relax. Indoor seating at both the restaurant and separate bar building, are available as well. Highly recommend the Bear balls- funny name, absolutely delicious!

The meats here are definitely done right. Great value for the price. Love the bear attack. The Mac and corn bread with brisket is my go to combo but the sausage is also good choice!

I am so happy we stopped here. It has a cool vibe but more importantly the service is excellent. The staff is friendly and willing to answer questions about the menu. PLUS they are knowledgeable about gluten free options. All BBQ sauces are gluten free. The staff as very accommodating and helpful. I cannot wait to stop here again.

This place so so delicious, service was quick and so friendly. This is a can't miss place if you're visiting Asheville or looking for delicious dinner. The cornbread was the greatest I've ever had too. Chopped brisket was to die for.

Bear’s has the best BBQ! Get the Mac Attack, Bear Attack, cheese curds and more! Counter style and sit there or over at the bar or outside by the fire! There are many BBQ sauces to choose from in both the smokehouse and at the bar.
