Buell Street Bistro

We went for a function and had a select menu to choose from. I had the steak with seasonal veggies and roasted potatoes as my main. Caesar salad as my appetizer and a triple chocolate mousse cake for my dessert. My partner in crime had the seafood thermidor, for the appetizer was bruschetta and dessert was Tiramisu. The food was cooked perfectly and really tasty. Our server was very attentive to our parties needs.

I’ve been to the Buell street bistro a few times and it deserves the five star rating. Several of their sauces are made in house from scratch, and all of their food is prepared perfectly. The mussels are delicious, as well as their soups, salads, steaks, and all their seafood pastas. I’ve included photos of the atmosphere of the restaurant as well as the butternut pumpkin soup, ceaser salad with chicken, and one of their seafood thermidor. We didn’t get dessert this time, but all their desserts are made in house and their apple crumble is fantastic!

Amazing food! Wonderful service. A great spot for comfort food during the cold winter. Nice for a date night or dinner with friends.

I had an absolutely incredible dinner tonight. The Chef's Choice Salmon dish was delicious. I had the Chorizo chowder to start which was superb. I finished with the Orange Creme Brulee . I can not even begin to describe how fantastic the meal was. I highly recommend and can't wait to go back. Thank you Buell St VBistro for the best dinner out in a long time. ( I also just got off a cruise ship and can tell you this was way better then anything I had on the Princess ship)

This is an awesome place to dine, a real ‘hidden gem’! Our server Liz was excellent - helpful, friendly, efficient. We had the specials of the day and the dishes really popped! What stood out was the balance of flavours. Every bite was tasty, there was no getting bored as we ate. All of the dishes had a homemade feel with high quality ingredients. Comfortable and classy. Highly recommended!
