Loved our brunch at Cravings! Christie, the owner, was warm, helpful, and full of great recommendations. When we didn’t love the butter pecan and our friends didn’t enjoy the Mexican drink, she graciously swapped them out. We tried the French Toast, Settlers Breakfast, and Granola Bowl—the granola was our top pick. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it for a quality brunch experience in town.
We just had a wonderful breakfast at Cravings! I’d say the best breakfast in town. The corned beef hash is delicious and the addition of green onions in this dish really elevates the flavor. The French toast is also really yummy. I’m happy they offer an upgrade of 100% pure maple syrup. They also have the best latte I’ve found in town as well. They serve locally roasted organic espresso!! I love the alternative milk selection as too. Soy milk is the best dairy substitute imo and their latte was divine. Such a treat!
The drink menu has something for everyone. The portion sizes were excellent and the food was delicious 😋 it was my first time in Chester and I certainly hope to return again! The half serving of Cherizo Benedict is pictured. Also, we ordered the corned beef hash.
We were recommended to this place by a local. Very good recommendation, thank you. Good food, my wife had a Philly cheese steak that could have had more meat in it. My Ruben was fine. Service was pretty quick. Place was a bit stuffy, better ventilation would be nice. Coffee was good. Cute bookstore is attached with internal access.
A magical little spot in Chester, CA. My wife and I enjoyed a black coffee with our breakfast (Rusty Roof Coffee). I'm told that it was local roster. I was tempted to take advantage of the free refills! We really loved the attached bookstore and the gorgeous atmosphere. I enjoyed one of their corned beef dishes, made with their own home made corned beef, while my wife enjoyed a wonderful goat cheese and spinach scramble. Tucked away in the indoor window seating made for a wonderful little stop in the mountains. If you get the chance, we encourage a visit!
