We had a wonderful time here Friday night. The people were friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. I had a house salad and the veal fontina. My father had the steamed mussels and veal Marsala. The entrees were served quickly and came out very hot. I will definitely be back.
We ate here last night, and it was incredibly disappointing. It took 3 hours from the time we sat to the time we received our bill. We had to flag our waiter down to put in appetizers, and then it took an hour and a half to get our entrees. I had to go find our server and ask where our food was, and it was more than clear he forgot to put the food in because it took another 20 mins. When he brought the bill I did confront him about how long everything took, and he was unapologetic, and said they had some big top tables come in; which is fine but you need to keep your table updated if they have been waiting an hour and a half. We had planned on getting drinks somewhere after dinner, but did not have time as we sat down at 7:15 and didn’t leave until 10:30. Crazy.
Last night was my husband‘s birthday. The food was awful. It was like they took chicken breast from Costco. Cut it in half and slapped some gravy on it and made uncle Ben’s rice for a side dish. My dish I was told would be like chicken Spedinii it was pieces of chicken that had grill marks on it also had to be from Costco or Sam’s. I’m not sure and it was warmed up with a Lemon sauce. I was blown away at the bill being $150.00 and I felt like I was eating at a buffet where they had generic food in warmers slopped it on. A plate . Capital Grille from now on should not have tried something new .
Food was great, the waiter seemed a little annoyed with our group and overall felt like he was trying to avoid our table towards the end of our meal.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service! Our group enjoyed the Chicken a la Crema, eggplant Parmesan, and the sea bass special as well as Jackie's Cake, cheesecake, and a couple of sorbets. All delicious!
