Eddie's Southtown Donuts

My wife and I love Eddie’s so much we had their donuts for dessert at our wedding. When we placed our order for more than 100 donuts a few days before the event, Eddie and crew worked with us so we had a variety of their most popular options (hello, Heath crunch). They even delivered everything to the venue, giving us one less worry on the big day. And my god, were the donuts a hit. Several people said they were the best donuts they’d ever had. We agree. St. Louis is a city full of great donut shops, but Eddie’s is in a league of its own.

I stopped in to Eddie's after hearing about his shop on the STL Donut & Coffee Tour YouTube channel. I got there right when they opened and bought a dozen. I heard he had one of the best apple fritters in the city, and I was not disappointed. They were the perfect combo of crispy and chewy, topped with delicious glaze that permeated every nook and crannie. It's definitely one of the best around! The old fashioned was also a highlight. It was perfect for dunking in my coffee. The sprinkled cake donut was outstanding, as was the glazed jelly. Eddie was super nice, and the price was the best I've seen around town. The donuts were fantastic, I highly recommend giving Eddie's a try!

Went at 10:30 on a Saturday and there were 4 people in there. Ordered 6 donuts, only got 5 and one wrong donut. My long john tasted sour. This place did not live up to the reviews at all. The guys working were nice, but didn't listen to us at all. We won't be back.
