Fork Lore

First this is located inside of the Hilton. So people, dogs, and shoppers are walking in and out consistently. There are people just there hanging out, some on their pcs...think of hotel lobby. The service was terrible. The waitress appeared to be upset and irritated. The food was okay. I'm disappointedthe shareable crab cakes only came with one cake. It was delicious. I didn't the menu pricing so I ordered the soup hubs the fried chicken sandwich. The broccoli cheddar soup was good but I kept finding papery bits in it. I wish now I had taken a picture of the paper square I pulled out. Maybe a 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch square. It was so gross I couldn't eat it. I was too upset with the service at this point to be kind about my soup discovery I just wanted to leave. The fries were good and hubs

We were visiting friends for the weekend and obviously got trapped in the storm- Folk Lore stayed open and provided us with great drinks, great service, and great food. I hope all of the staff who served us know how appreciative we are - it’s not easy working through inclement weather.

Great experience, we stopped for a quick meal on our long drive and it was everything we needed. The service is fast and friendly, the food was really good.

We had the spinach and cheese Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached. The cheese grits were great. Andrew, our food server, was great. Very attentive and friendly. The water that is served is EXCELLENT! Very nice experience!

Might have just a been the best steak and sides I’ve ever had. Only a few other dining experiences beat this one. And I ordered room service and ate in my room. Was hot and delicious! Had breakfast there too the last several morning. Great grits and everything was really good.
