Georgia Visitor Information Center - Lavonia

Rest area is great for truckers, ample space to park for truckers. Space to walk or play with pets. I enjoyed the scenery & it’s early phase of spring. I walked & even enjoyed the swing they had there. Not one complaint.

One of the best rest stops and a great visitor center! Proud I’m from Georgia. Very clean and inviting. Plenty of parking, plenty of space for dogs to stretch out and picnic areas. Restrooms are clean and the staff at the counter are very friendly.

This Georgia-South Carolina Welcome Center was clean, well-organized, and full of helpful travel information. I was traveling through on my way to Florida with a professional singing group. The staff was the nicest I’ve ever encountered at a welcome center!! They gave me a pin for my shirt. They were friendly, welcoming, and eager to assist. It was a great stop to stretch, grab brochures, and feel genuinely appreciated as a traveler. Highly recommended!

Nice and spacious ground. Big spaces for truck parking. Unfortunately there is no overnight parking allowed. They have bar b q’s picnic tables and even a swing set. Good place for a walk as well they also have pamphlets and maps inside. With even a miniature model of a town.

This is a beautiful spot for a welcome center. This one has a friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The bathroom is clean, the building is nice with lots of brochures and staff to help you plan your trip to Georgia, and grounds are well cared for.
