Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lavonia by IHG

Great location, hotel looks good, staff was friendly and managers were great. I believe in second chances especially when a problem arises and it's addressed and followed up with. The issue was housekeeping. I've been a manager, a business owner and a housekeeper. I have pride in my work. These housekeeper don't and I'm sure the issues will be dealt with. It seems they took shortcuts and thought no one would notice. Well I did. I was given 3 differnt rooms each one had an issue I was not comfortable with. I settled the matter and the managers got right on it. We arrived late and tired. I was told a manager would be in Monday but after pursuing with further questions I was told the weekend manager would be there in the morning. I feel the staff did not communicate or handle things as good

Holiday Inn in Lavonia, Ga. is a nice place to stay, lots of places to eat. It has very clean rooms with very clean beds. Employees friendly and helpful. HOWEVER - The contracted yard workers did a terrible job. While cutting grass, all cars are covered in cut grass. The employees obviously didn’t care that they left grass cuttings in front of the entryway where all guests had to track through on our shoes, spreading it throughout the entire hotel. This company evidently was hired by all these hotels. Someone needs to find another company to keep the outside clean and our cars as well. Pictures attached. We told the Front desk employee, so hopefully the manager was informed.

Enjoyed my recent stay at this hotel located just off I-85 in Lavonia, Georgia. I was part of a the Trailblaze Challenge group staying at the hotel., ||Very friendly and hospitable staff at the desk and the hard working breakfast attendant all had big smiles and were very friendly. Special kudos to Chan who was working the desk, management should pass on my appreciation to her. ||Guest room 225 was spotless clean. A large bathroom and large vanity. Amenities are | large size mounted on wall by sink and in shower surround. One negative for me was the tub shower and it was slippery. Happy there was a grab bar. I asked the night audit person for a room refresh as we departed very early and was happy to have it completed by my return in the evening. He told me they do housekeeping every other

I was with a few colleagues on business in this hotel. First we stayed 4 nights where everything was fine. A week later we came back to this hotel. Already on the second evening I had the feeling that someone had rummaged through my suitcase and looked for something. I ignored it. The next night it was exactly the same. Since I live in hotels and always have a familiar system in my suitcase, I was sure here. When my colleague reported the next morning that something was missing from the suitcase, which he had definitely bought, I was 100% sure that someone in this hotel would search the suitcases. Second time staying there promise it won’t be a third time service is mediocre the rooms are absolutely disgusting stay here 2-3-26 the room was full of hair took the entire box of tissue cleaning up hair from beds to the tub towels had hair beds was half made up told girl on 3rd shift she only offer to move me & my mom to a different room we declined after driving from 7am - 9 pm I will never stay here again paying near $200 for rooms that full of hair & half clean trash on floor nasty tissue by ice can there better hotels elsewhere definitely will choose better if I’m in this small town area .
