High On The Hog Bbq

Amazing BBQ no frills spot. We were staying nearby at an Airbnb and craved some barbecue- High On The Hog did not dissappoint. Great portions. My dad had the fried haddock (Friday special), mu husband has the brisket and I had the chicken wings. All cooked to perfection.. and the fries are delicious. Don’t skip the smoked mac and cheese- very cheesy! We have we’re so satisfied we went back a second time before we started on our way back to NYC. This time we had burgers and half a rack of end— also very tasty. Rhonda was outstanding… and so was the young cook (can’t recall his name). I don’t think I’ve had such great service at a barbecue place before. Don’t miss out on this place with delish bbq and it won’t break the bank! There’s sitting inside and outside and a very clean rest

Stopped in for lunch while visiting the area. Ordered the BBQ platter and was not disappointed! The pulled pork was my personal favorite, but the ribs and the brisket were also fantastic. The coleslaw and salt potatoes went went well with the meat and the service was friendly and quick.

Came here for lunch with some coworkers. The food was excellent, service was great and staff is super friendly. If you ever find yourself in the area, highly recommend.

Great food. Brisket was done perfectly. Locals are in and out constantly at 1pm on a a Sunday. Definitely up there in my top list. We'll be back.

Very good dining experience. Coming in the decor is very nice. Food was very good. Had the Hot Mess. Texas toast with Chipotle Gouda, pulled pork, smoked Mac n cheese, and bacon. Girlfriend had the Potato Boat. Salt potatoes, pulled pork with melted Jack. Very friendly staff and a super clean bathroom. Worth the visit.
