Middleburgh Library

Every time I go to this library the staff is always helpful and pleasant. Josh was working at the desk today. I have never met him before but, he is amazing. He is very kind and patient. I am a senior citizen and needed help printing some important papers. He took care of it very quickly and saved me a lot of time and effort. I wanted to make sure his name gets the credit it deserves because he will never know how much his help meant to me.

This is a great library. The staff there is super friendly and it's really nice inside. They do tons of activities there for the kids, especially in the summer. It's super comfortable inside too temperature-wise. Not sure why that matters, but it stood out to me as it was like 90 degrees outside when we went and it was nice in there, lol

You need to keep the kids area separate from the main part of the library, or close the doors to it. I came to work on something and there were children playing rough and screaming at the top of their lungs for the entire time I was there. I was all the way at the other end of the library and it was so loud it was piercing and I couldn't focus on my work at all. I feel like libraries have become more playgrounds and daycares than places to study, read, or work.

This is such a wonderful library. They have a great summer program as well as events throughout the rest of the school year. No late fees (you do pay for damages) and free parking on the backside. My son looks forward to his weekly visits. I can’t wait until he’s old enough to understand how cool their Harry Potter event is.

Grandson was excited about seeing what he could build from a cup of lego pieces. Also took 4 books for him to read. This has been one of my happy places for the past 65 years.
