Hotel Lanesboro

This was our first stay here. The code entry to the hotel and our room worked great. We were in room 2, which was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Great selection of coffee too. The location is perfect for easy walking access to everything downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

Check-in via code worked great. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Had a good selection of coffee/tea pods. Location is great, right downtown. The main floor also has a nice area to congregate. Appreciated the bike storage shed. Since it was off season and mid week, there was plenty of room, but I'd imagine it gets full in the summer. Walls are thin and floors creak, so was glad we were on the upper floor. Fortunately, the other guests were very quiet, so no real issues with noise (except from trucks outside). My main complaint was the room temperature. There aren't individual room controls and our room was extremely warm at times. There seemed to be an issue with the HVAC causing it to heat more than normally. We were able to open the door to the fire escape to cool things down

We wanted to be able to book a place online and shifted from a B&B stay to the Hotel Lanesboro. So glad we did. We appreciate the concept and it's simplicity and function - but the real prize is the atmosphere and decor. It's very fresh, pretty, inviting, and cozy - both the rooms and the lobby.||Everything was well-appointed: plenty of coffee, cups, Keurig full of water, everything clean and tidy.||We'll be back.

Super easy access and entry. We entered into a beautiful commons area and found our room easily. Our room was gorgeous and clean. We loved that it was located right on the main street so we could walk everywhere. The welcome guide had some great restaurant suggestions and parking instructions too! The only downside was that it was warm out during our stay and our room was quite warm through our 2 night stay. The rooms are not individually temperature controlled (a tower fan is provided but didn't cool the room enough to sleep comfortably in our opinion).

This hotel is a beautiful historic building. We had room 7 and loved it. Comfortable bed and pillows and sheets. Good coffee and tea pod choices and plenty of them and cups (the bathroom water to fill for coffee was good). Very nice to have a refrig in the room. The bathroom had a nice size shower with a large shower head. Everything in the room was beautiful and upgraded and clean!!! The lady bugs do get through those older windows but the stayed there and or a few on the ceiling. We did have a view of the river. We are right by the bridge coming in and the traffic was heard but we had such a great time, it didn't seem to bother us. There is a large tv for those who need one. Keyless entry worked great!
