Great new place to stop in and get a bite to eat! I had a loaded baked potato with pulled chicken and Mac n cheese on the side, really good! Next time I am going to try the brisket sandwich! Great atmosphere to hang out, take some pics and relax! They have a train theme going to reflect the history of Marrietta. You have to try this place out, for sure!
Ok the two pound potato is insane! Crazy Smokey flavor they won’t tell me how they did it. The owners are an amazing part of the community and always helping. Showed up for the minithon today. Best ribs I’ve ever had. The whole atmosphere was amazing too. My new favorite spot!
We tried the pulled pork baked potato (huge potato!), the trio tacos, and some mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and filling. The staff was very hospitable and they helped to occupy our one year old while we ate. So happy to have a new small business in town, and can’t wait to stop in often!
Iron Born is what I'd consider 'fast casual', you order at a register, get a table number card, and choose your seat. If you order a drink, you get it from the fountain yourself. Once your food's done it's brought to you and from there you're left alone. I was pretty pumped to see this in Marietta, the atmosphere is great and the speed of service makes it a good option for a quick lunch. The store is clean and modern, and I love the tie in to the 'rail trail' access Marietta is known for. It was pretty hot in there when we came in on opening day, you could definitely feel the heat of the kitchen through the open concept floorplan. We ordered the Sleeper Skillet, Loaded Baked Potato, Baked Beans and Cheese Curds. The Sleeper Skillet was good. The portion is reasonable, the mac is pretty
