La Casa de Chicharrón

I needed to buy a platter for a party and googled a location by me.. This location came up and decided to give it a try.. I picked up a big 110$ tray with mixed fried meats and sides.. Woww very good .. nice flavor and plenty for a party of over ten people.. This will be my Dominican craving go to spot.

I ordered a chicken mofongo and she smothered it with liquid cheese before giving it to me. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life and I’ve been eating mofongo for 20 years. Gross.

Mangu was amazing. Salami tasted just like back home. 10 out of 10 recommend this places.

Alba’s the sweetest – caring more about feeding you than getting paid. Her cooking skills are legit; this local spot would have a line around the block if it were in a busier place. Family-run vibes, and that $8 salmon? It could take on the big shots in NYC. Wish they’d make it a regular thing. Breakfast and lunch are my go-tos. Best Dominican food in NYC, hands down!
