Magnolia Hotel St. Louis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Great hotel! Wicked comfy beds and great shower pressure. The foyer offered a unique aesthetic, pool table and shuffleboard. Also the hotel has an adopt/sponsor a dog program and we loved seeing all the puppy pictures in the common spaces. The continental breakfast was limited. The hotel is a tad dated and would benefit from minor maintenance such as fixing small cracks and stains. Not dirty, just a tad worn. We would stay again!

We paid for a four star With a prime locationand got a three star in the boonies.We were very excited to stay here. It was 4 stars and beautiful and walking distance to our events. When we arrived they told us they oversold their rooms. Then they assured us that wasn’t the case, that they actually had an engineering problem and had to ship us WAY out to a 3 star hotel that was now an hour out of walking distance and would require us to pay for Ubers several times a day. They also didn’t reserve us a room in the 3 star with 2 beds which we had reserved so we had to share a long bed which made things very uncomfortable. The hotel location is great. It puts you in the heart of the city. The hotel also has amazing breakfast options. Definitely recommend staying here on a trip to St. Louis.

I wish I could recommend this hotel, the rooms were nice, the front desk staff were pleasant, however the valet was truly miserable to deal with both during and after my stay and since the only offered parking option at Magnolia is the valet at a cost of over $57/night after taxes & fees, I cannot recommend the Magnolia hotel in St. Louis. The very first night the valet entered my rental vehicle details into the app with the wrong color (white vs dark grey) and a stay length of 13 days ($750) vs 6 days ($346). My second day at the hotel I requested my car through the Metropolis app, I received a text a few minutes later saying my car was being retrieved. I went to the lobby approximately 15 minutes later and my keys were still in the valet stand and nobody had retrieved the vehicle. Tota

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of St. Louis. From here you have the perfect starting point to explore the city by foot. The staff was throughout very friendly and helpful! In the evening you have homemade cookies and milk - what a sweet little treat! The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. We were here in winter time, and the heating was having some trouble the first night - it was better the second night. But that was the only thing to improve. A definite recommendation if you wanna see St. Louis
