Stay FAR away if possible. If I could give it a 0 I would. Was suppose to stay here for work, I was not even suppose to pay for it (company arranged it ahead of time). The front counter lady charged me the whole stay and said the card is just incase I didn't show up to charge it for ine night... what? Standing right in front of you, obviously I'm here. That was the first thing. The second was got my room key. A regular house key type. Red flag. And the room? Ew. Ew. EW. Curtains? Disgusting and stained. Bed was ok, but I didn't look much into it. Under the bed? Had crumbs, dirt, miscellaneous shit all under it like no one's VACUUMED in years. The bathroom? The ceiling was bowed in from water damaged like it was going to break at any time. We had a reservation thru Booking.com and had received confirmation from the property plus an assurance that we would have a ground floor room. When we arrived about 5:00 P.M. we found a deserted lobby with a note on the desk that said, "Desk closed. Will reopen at 6:00 A.M. We tried to call the Inn's phone number and got no answer. A young man appeared and asked if we were trying to check in. He didn't know anything about the process and even after we showed him our printed reservation he just mumbled and ran in and out, made a couple of phone calls and then disappeared. A woman, named Brynn, appeared and appeared to be drunk, or high, and after mumbling and rambling she finally said to tell Booking.com not to charge us. At that point we just called and found a room at another motel.

I rated this room due to the lack of cleanliness. Over all under the beds have never been cleaned, dust bunnies growing. Bathroom towels had makeup smudges not being laundered. Bedding had a questionable substance on it. Window siliconed shut. Holes in the walls with no security features on the door entering the room, with door knob broken. Several outlets do not work. Motel was quiet and great parking for trailers. Affordable.

Glad the front desk help could have a break and took forever to check us in. Didn't even know what room was available. We wanted a key if we're going to pay for our one night. That was a chore to get. The room has AC that never turned off, that loud machine ran all night. Not a good white noise thing either. Not a single trash can in the room. We had to make our own. The corner light didn't want to turn off, so we unplugged it. The shades to the window didn't want to stay closed. We felt very exposed all night with the window being at ground level. We were told the room has wifi, but not a single thing to tell us how to get onto the wifi. There's a TV but no remote, couldn't watch it if we wanted to. The room is cheap, but remember... The manager Lisa was very accommodating and very helpful upon my reservation at the front desk. I needed an extension on my stay and the hotel manager went out of her to fit me in quickly and I was even able to keep my same room upon such a short notice. Help staff was very friendly, provided for all my needs upon every request, always smiling and went out of their way to make my stay more comfortable. People here in Challis over all seem to be very friendly while carrying that small town charm.
