Panera Bread

We ordered two cups of soup, but they don't serve a full bowl of soup at all. You get half a bowl of broth, a couple of carrots, a couple of noodles, and a couple of chicken pieces. That's not what I expected when I ordered a bowl of soup for $9.

I preordered bagels and pastries from Panera La Canada a WEEK in advance for a breakfast event at my school. Went to pick up my order, and they had not even started it yet. To make matters worse, they told me that they were out of the blueberry muffins, chocolate croissants, and cherry pastries I had ordered. When I asked how this was possible, when I PRE-ORDERED my items a week ago, they said that they had a couple of large catering orders come in this morning and I was basically out of luck. I asked if it was possible to pick those items up from a different store, and was told that I was free to call other stores and ask. Customer service is totally non existent. Bottom line: Pre-orders mean absolutely NOTHING. You cannot count on any order you place at Panera. I will never do business

Love Panera! The pick 2 option is the best. The chocolate chip cookies are a must. They are soft and delicious. The chicken fontega is my favorite with the strawberry chicken poppy seed salad.

They totally do not serve a full bowl of soup. You'll get half a bowl of broth. The manager said, "we serve 3 laddels." Which equals half a bowl. The problem is that it's 3 laddels of broth, a couple of carrots, a couple of noodles, and a couple of pieces of chicken. This is not what anyone on earth would expect when ordering a bowl of soup for $9. The manager was nice and offered us a small cup with a few more noodles in it to try to make up for the embarrassing presentation. But overall, we were dissatisfied with our experience at Panera... Also, the lights that hang over the tables haven't been cleaned in a while. We were eating when we saw a small little dust bunny fall onto our table. Then I looked up and around to the other tables and saw these nasty light covers. (See photos

This place is overrated in my opinion. Nothing seems to make this place stand out in my opinion in terms of quality. If anything, I would say that everything from the bread, to the soups are on the lower side of mediocre for prices that feel extravegant for what you're getting. Not a good place to take friends either; the layout means there's foot traffick around you and a lot of noise. You're never quite comfortable. I don't think I'll return here in the future.
