The Brim Coffeehouse- McGregor

This was my first visit to The Brim Coffeehouse, and I had a great experience. They have a relatively simple menu filled with delicious options. I ordered a Chunky Monkey yogurt bowl and it was refreshing and delicious. The young ladies on staff were friendly and warmly greeted me as I entered. The following few staff interactions were pleasant and very helpful. Lastly, my iced latte was perfect. The staff member that took my order even had the forethought to notice that I asked for sugar free syrup and to check that it was okay that my yogurt bowl came with chocolate chips. Actions like that could save someone from an allergic or other medical response in the future.

Friendly staff and nice newer vibes. We were in between hikes and took a lunch break here and ordered the half grilled cheese sandwich with seasoned chips. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich and pasta salad. The grilled cheese was ok nothing amazing and on the smaller side for fillings. The seasoned potato chips were not that great as I don’t care for potato chips as a side however it makes it easier on the establishment if they want to limit the cooking of items. I tried the pasta salad and it was too sweet and not my style of pasta salad personally as I’d opt for savory forward flavors. We did not try their drinks though.

Great way to start your day! Friendly environment all the way around. The owner, the staff, the customers and the town! They care about what they are serving you and it shows! My go to is the iced turtle coffees and the breakfast bacon grilled cheese sandwich! If they are busy when you arrive, don't worry they will get you taken care of!

I would give The Brim 10 stars if that was an option! Their espresso has a great flavor (the bee sting latte is an instant favorite!!), the food is delicious, the staff are incredibly friendly, and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This will be a new regular stop when we are in town. Cannot wait to come back!

Deserves more customers. The coffee was great, especially the fall specials that truly tasted as they were described. We're visiting Wyalusing State Park from Chicago and we enjoyed our coffee here more than many of the most popular cafes we've tried in the metro area. The food was great too, fresh and hot breakfast sandwich, filling and affordable. Served with a smile. The cafe is cute inside and out. The town is small but very charming.
