The Lakeside Grill

I hated the food the first couple years they were open. Well I just came here again and they got a better menu and the food was way better! I had a club and it was delicious. Someone gave my daughter some free fish and Duck food. Very sweet of them. I will be back. I'm so happy the menu is bigger! My kid had chicken of course, husband got cat fish and he said it was delicious. I loved there hush puppies too.

This was my wife and my first visit here. We wanted a mid Sunday date and decided to check it out. The view from the deck was amazing. We were sat immediately. The server was friendly.... those were the good experiences. My wife ordered the catfish basket. I ordered a pattymelt. And we ordered cheese sticks. 35 minutes later our server came out to let us know they are out of catfish. Still no cheese sticks. After we had been there 45 minutes I threw some money on the table for our sweet teas and we left to find some place to feed us.

We love this spot. We have been here around 25 times, and it is really good. We always get Jessica as our server, and she is a sweetheart who does a great job. Great drinks, views, and food. We really enjoy feeding the ducks, so ask for some duck food if you see them. We usually come before noon so the weather doesn't get too hot. Try the advocado toast and ask for the candied bacon.

Burger was 10/10 and catfish was awesome also! Sat outside and the view was beautiful and relaxing!!

To say I love this place is an understatement. Not only do they have excellent food and beverages the service is outstanding. From Monica Thomasson creating this fabulous Bloody Mary to Jake Ryan cooking excellent food and being so creative with menu choices and specials. This filet from the Valentines event was one of the best I have ever eaten. The owner Brent Allen makes us feel like family and shows every customer appreciation for their business. They have the very best hamburger in East Texas even without the bun. If you are a breakfast fan this is the place to go especially if you like gravy and biscuits.
