The Outpost Vacation Rental Fredericksburg Texas Pet Friendly Near Enchanted Rock

My wife and I just finished our stay at the Outpost (09-20-2025-09-22-2025). To say it was perfect is not enough. The trip was for our 27th wedding anniversary and the first time in over 17 years where we able to spend time together by ourselves. Our expectations were beyond high for a great weekend. Well Lori and Mike not met those expectations and but went beyond them with our stay at the Outpost. From the serenity of the location to the amenities of the cabin is so awesome. We enjoyed walking the property, relaxing on the porch, and “hunting” the eggs. Thank you so much for the memories we made and we look forward to returning. The Merchants

Beautiful views. Very peaceful. Lots of fun extras to make it fun, like the "Easter Eggs" hidden around. Very well stocked home. Very communicative. Walls had a lot of memorabilia and history (almost a museum) Very close to enchanted rock and about 20 min from Fredericksburg. Definitely worth visiting, and I've already told friends.

We LOVE it at The Outpost! This is our 2nd time staying this year. It is the perfect place for my husband and I to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is SO quiet and peaceful! The cabin is equipped with everything you might need. Our favorite place is the back porch. The view is just beautiful. Especially when the sun is setting. Thank you Michael and Lori for creating and sharing such a wonderful place!! We will definitely be back again soon!

Outstanding experience! This house is amazing! Mike and Lori have poured their heart and soul into this lovely home. The decorations, the abundant historical artifacts along with information about each item, absolutely everything showcases the hard work and money put into creating this haven! Peaceful, quiet and comfortable ….three necessities we look for when traveling and this home checked off all, plus some! Close to town for the wineries, shops, and yummy eateries. You only need to bring your clothes and food( if you want to cook).Everything else is provided! Simply perfect!!

We went here for a family vacation. It was incredible. The views on the property and on the drive to and from town are to die for. We saw some wildlife and heard the coyotes at night. Amazing property. Enchanted rock was simply incredible. Mike and Lori are very nice and accommodating. Loved the Easter eggs and the historic decor. Also you must check out the pacific war museum in town. We plan on going back
