Customer Reviews
After a 7-hour drive, "fast food" wasn't what we were looking for, so we looked for a restaurant that was open that we could sit down and decompress a little. We found this pub and were very excited. There seemed to be only one group out on the patio and another set of people finishing up so we went in. There's s a part of the menu that suggests theres a big serving for the items along the side so we ordered some food each plus the BBQ pizza we found along the side to split between us or take back to the hotel for later. It took an hour for our food to come out, and the pizza for 20.95 was literally the size of a naan. Definitely will never go here again, almost 100$ in food, and we all had to go eat again elsewhere.
We had reserved for 5:30 about a week ago, arrived early since we had our annual side x side torch lighting run and it took over 4 hours to be served our lunch. Not only we missed the event, our lunch was mediocre, overcooked and cold. Not impressed and not going back anytime soon!!!!
The kitchen is not able to keep up. I am not sure what they do but it seems they are not organized. We had to wait more than an hour after placing the order and at the end the food was cold. Annoying for us was that two guests beside us, ordered about 40 minutes after us and became their food about 5 minutes after us. Rating is only because of the slow kitchen and the condition of the food. The waitresses, made the best out of the situation and tried their best. Because my meal was partially cold, they did not charge me for it. It might have been an unfortunate circumstance but we would not come back.
The server was excellent! We returned our poutine as it was cold. When it came back, the fries are so big that they are mushy inside and not crispy. Our draft beer was flat, server was nice enough to charge us only one. My Caesar drink was good and our wings were excellent!!
It's was hard to judge the sizes and potions on the menu. The food was ok. They only had fries for the side with no poutine. It took 30mins to get our food and there was only 4 tables being served.
