Vaughan Cheese Counter & Bar

We stopped in to get some cheese to go. We will definitely be back to eat in. There is some indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating. The cheese selection will blow you away. Everyone was friendly.

Absolutely delicious! The vinaigrette on the salad was awesome, and I a dry salad person. I never like dressing, this was simple and tasty without trying. The potatoes and the broccolini were cooked to perfection. The chicken was seasoned very well and tender. The grilled cheese was was exactly to level I would hope for from a place that specializes in cheese. And to top it off, the bread butter has ruined me and turned me into a snob from the first bite. I will no longer be able to go to restaurant with free bread and butter and enjoy without comparing. The server was very knowledgeable and the owner came out to check on tables. I literally texted friends while still eating recommending they too come try Vaughan Cheese! Can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely adore Vaughan Cheese Counter & Bar! Every time I go, I have an amazing experience. Tonight I had The Old-Old World Wine Flight ($50 for 3 stellar wines) and a board with 2 cheeses and meat. Tyler was so knowledgeable and helpful with his recommendations. The wine exceeded my expectations and the board was delicious! 10/10 when absolutely enjoy again!

Great food and drink, amazing service, such a lovely location and atmosphere. We tried a charcuterie board as a starter and then went home with two of the cheeses offered. Were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch with very attentive service. Totally worth it and plan to add it to the regular local rotation! Thank you!

Love this place. Delicious food, cheese & drink and friendly service. Nice outdoor seating. I recommend it. I ding them one star because they charge for iced tea refills, a practice they brought from Manhattan, where they are from (And where I was born, so I’m allowed to criticize). To make matters worse, when they sell you a refill, they take your half empty prior glass away, which you paid for and now only got to drink half of. We just don’t do that in the South. If they fix these problems, I’ll give them the fifth star. (Update 7/18: if they do indeed change this, I will indeed upgrade to 5 stars. As of today, still charging.)
